High performance 2 component-polyurethane coatings.

NECOWEL 750 is a polyol component to formulate high quality 2 component polyurethane lacquers.

For a crosslinker it is recommended to use HDI and IPDI based oligomeric polyisocyanates. Basically hydrophylic isocyanates specially designed for waterborne systems, as well as common hydrophobic types can be used. Best results have been obtained by a mixture of both.

As usual in PU systems, an excess of crosslinker is recommended (e.g. 150 % Isocyanate).

Coatings based on NECOWEL 750 show good solvent-, weather- and yellowing resistance as well as high gloss.

Using appropriate hardeners, lacquers of 150 µm film thickness can be applied in a one step layer without blistering.
