AVEPOX 6024/474 is the solvent-free epoxy resin component for the Epoxy-SO2 Process and is used in combination with INITIATOR 80 for cores and molds for all light-metal castings. The dosage of AVEPOX 6024/474 can be done as preadduct with INITIATOR 80 or as separate component. Further advantages of AVEPOX 6024/474 are low SO2 consumption, reduced smoke development during casting and high strength as well as a storage stability of several days.
