High refractory water based zircon slurry for steel, gray and nodular iron for premium requirements .

The coating is available in two viscosities:

  • High-Pasty (Material number 26.339, is offered in appropriate 30 l hobbocks)
  • Diluted version, readily adjusted for the flow coating

application. (Material number 26.332, container product) The inorganic additives, non clay binding agents as well as the small water amount of only 15 % (high-pasty version) are responsible for the fast air drying and crack-free behavior even with layer thicknesses of several mm in one application. The dried coating surface shows excellent abrasion resistance according to the very good anchoring with the sand substrate. Due to the coarse components the coating is suitable especially for the sealing of rammed refractories in centrifugal casting or at furnace snouts and prevents penetrations and erosion very effectively.
