Product information SILICO® L 244 E

SILICO ® L 244 E is a thermoflexible alcohol based coating based on alumina silicate with iron oxide content for gray, nodular iron and heavy alloyed metal castings.

SILICO ® L 244 E is preferably applied for dipping and flow coating application. Due to the good flow properties, application for most complex core shapes is possible without negative droplet effects. The yellow color of SILICO ® L 244 E provides a good contrast for darker mold material surfaces (e.g. No Bake). The special formula and structure of the solids have anti-veining properties. Suitable for cores and molds made with the No Bake, Askoset, Avenol F, Cold Box and CO2 processes.

Drying options: burning-off or air-drying.
