Ashland-Südchemie-Kernfest GmbH (ASK Chemicals) looks back to a decades-long track record of success.

ASK Chemicals’ research centers in Germany and France are involved in developing new technologically independent binder systems and coatings for the foundry industry with patents of their own. The success of ASK Chemicals is based on its ability to offer its customers individual technical solutions to complex problems. These technologies consist of high performance polyurethane, furan and phenol resins as well as innovative high-tech coatings.

New product requirements arise out of the collaboration with the foundries and, thus, the ASK product line is constantly evolving. Environmental compatibility and economic efficiency will continue to be the basis for innovative product know-how for ASK Chemicals also in the future.

Resins & Specialties

The Resins & Specialty division of ASK develops and supplies customized (user-specific) resins for the coating and plastics industry, building chemistry and phenolic resin applications. Close cooperation with our customers, individual service and flexible production are of top priority for us whereas innovative and custom-tailored products are of huge advantage. Therefore we are working together with a steadily growing number of satisfied customers and are a leading supplier of customized specialty resins on niche markets in Europe, the USA and South East Asia, where customized (user specific) resin developments for the paint and coating industry, phenolic resin applications and composite producers are required.
